Stinking rich people surround us everywhere we go in life. Love them or hate them, one thing has to be said for them, that for pretty much each and everyone of them, they have had to work hard and make huge sacrifices to attain their levels of success and financial freedom.
So how did you do in our quiz, did you get all of them right? Well here you go, here are the babies all grown up along with a brief description.
Baby #1 – Sir Richard Branson
Born 18 July 1950, Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group an empire consisting of over 400 companies.
Branson expressed his desire to become an entrepreneur at a young age. At the age of sixteen his first business venture was a magazine called Student. In 1970, he set up a mail-order record business. In 1972, he opened a chain of record stores, Virgin Records, later known as Virgin Megastores. Branson’s Virgin brand grew rapidly during the 1980s, as he set up Virgin Atlantic airline and expanded the Virgin Records music label.
In March 2000, Branson was knighted at Buckingham Palace for “services to entrepreneurship”. For his work in retail, music and transport (with interests in land, air, sea and space travel), his taste for adventure, and for his humanitarian work, he became one of the most prominent figures in British culture. In 2002 he was named in the BBC’s poll of the 100 Greatest Britons.In July 2015, Forbes listed Branson’s estimated net worth at US $5.2 billion. Mr Branson Sir, you are Stinking Rich!
Baby #2 – Mr Mark Zuckerberg
Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of Facebook, is the eight richest person in the world valued at $49.7 billion. American programmer, Internet entrepreneur, and philanthropist, he founded Facebook from his college dorm room in Harvard. The website later expanded rapidly with one billion users signing up by 2012. Mr Zuckerberg Sir, you are Stinking Rich!
Baby #3 – Bill Gates
The co-founder of Microsoft, tech magnate, entrepreneur, philanthropist, programmer, Bill Gates has a solid profile that makes him the richest individual, his worth marked $85.9 billion. Also the founder of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Gates has made strides in every sphere he has touched. He stepped down as CEO of Microsoft in 2000 and as Chairman in 2008. Currently, he works full-time at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and is the technology adviser to the current CEO Satya Nadella. Mr Gates Sir, you are Stinking Rich!
Baby #4 – Cristiano Ronaldo
At age 16, Ronaldo was promoted from Sporting’s youth team by first-team manager László Bölöni, who was impressed with his dribbling. He subsequently became the first player to play for the club’s under-16, under-17, and under-18 teams, the B team, and the first team, all within one season. A year later, on 7 October 2002, Ronaldo made his debut in the Primeira Liga, against Moreirense, and scored two goals in their 3–0 win. Over the course of the 2002–03 season, his representatives suggested the player to Liverpool manager Gérard Houllier and Barcelona president Joan Laporta. Manager Arsène Wenger, who was interested in signing the winger, met with him at Arsenal’s grounds in November to discuss a possible transfer.
Ronaldo came to the attention of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson in August 2003, when Sporting defeated United 3–1 at the inauguration of the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon. His performance impressed the Manchester United players, who urged Ferguson to sign him. Ferguson himself considered the 18-year-old “one of the most exciting young players” he had ever seen. A decade after his departure from the club, in April 2013, Sporting honoured Ronaldo by selecting him to become their 100,000th member. Ronaldo is estimated to be worth a cool 88mil a year! Baby #5 – Tom Cruise
The action star’s most famous movies include Top Gun, Mission: Impossible and Jerry Maguire. Although he’s been slowing down on making movies he’s still working. Some of them are sequels to his previous work, but others are new action movies. He’s well known for doing his own crazy stunts, and he’s still at it. He is also reportedly the highest paid actor for one role due to being paid $290 million throughout the Mission Impossible saga.
